Staff

The Consortium is housed administratively in the Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and is coordinated by Professor Robert Valuck, PhD, RPh. The Consortium now is able to offer a staff of ten who can support its efforts throughout the state.

External Relations Strategists

Kristin Carpenter — External Relations Strategist

Kristin builds relationships with local and regional efforts addressing the opioid epidemic, with a focus on the southeast. She provides technical assistance and establishes connections to other services. Email Kristin

Jennifer Mackender, MPH — External Relations Strategist

Jennifer builds relationships with local and regional efforts addressing the opioid epidemic, with a focus on the Denver area and northeast Colorado. She provides technical assistance and establishes connections to other services and organizations in the state as needed. Email Jennifer

Eric Barker — External Relations Strategist

Communications and Administration

Michael Davidson, MA — Senior Communications Professional

Michael works with Consortium members to develop, coordinate, and support communications campaigns. He creates digital and print content to promote the Consortium’s work, manages the Consortium’s websites, and coordinates public awareness campaigns. Email Michael

Rosemarie MacDowell — Center Coordinator

Rosemarie provides administrative support to the Consortium and its work groups. This includes producing financial documents, managing files, email distribution lists, and work group communications. Email Rosemarie
