    Addiction Treatment Programs

    Co-Chair:  Dana Smith, The Phoenix

    Co-Chair:  Rourke Weaver, Red Rock Recovery

    The Recovery work group was launched in Fall 2017 and is recruiting members. To join, click the “JOIN THIS GROUP” button on the top left corner of the page.

    The Recovery work group’s purpose is to bring the recovery community into the conversation about prescription drug misuse and abuse. This group will ensure engagement in our state and that resources for individuals in recovery are available in every community in Colorado.

    The Recovery work group’s goals for 2017-18 are to:

    • Create a standardized measurement or evaluation that will allow us to assess the effectiveness of various recovery support services, treatment and medication-assisted treatment services, sober living, and more;
    • Bring more attention to recovery, recovery support services, and the importance of multiple pathways to support a true continuum of care;
    • Respond to overdoses with peer support and replicate the Angel Program peer-support model in Colorado; and
    • Expand membership of the work group to include experts from diverse backgrounds and areas of expertise.

    The Recovery work group meets every other month (in person and by remote conferencing). The current work group roster, most recent meeting minutes, and upcoming meeting schedule will be available on the left-hand side of this page.

    Please contact us at for more information on the Recovery work group or to volunteer to participate in the group’s activities.
